Sizing and fit
Sizing is based on the lens width of your current glasses, the first number printed inside the arm (for example 54▫18-140 means a 54 mm lens width). If it isn’t printed, measure the widest point of one lens.

Prefer full-rim frames. Avoid rimless frames: there is no rim for the clips to hold.
Fit and frames
- Will these fit my glasses?
- They fit standard full-rim metal and plastic frames within the lens widths listed below. Pick the size that matches the lens width of your current glasses. If the clip doesn’t seat securely, return it unused.
- Do they work on rimless or semi-rimless frames?
- No. The clips need a rim to grip. On rimless frames there is nothing to hold, and on semi-rimless frames the grip is unreliable, so we don’t recommend it.
- Will the clips scratch my lenses or frames?
- The clips are designed to sit on the frame front, not the lens surface. Seat them gently and remove them the same way. Forcing a clip that is too narrow onto a wide frame is the usual cause of marks.
- Do they work with progressive or bifocal lenses?
- Yes. The clip-on sits in front of your own lenses and doesn’t change your prescription in any way.
The lenses
- Are the lenses actually polarized?
- Yes. Polarized lenses cut reflected glare from surfaces like road, water and snow. They are not a substitute for safety eyewear.
- How does the flip-up work?
- The lens section hinges upward while the clip stays attached to your frames. Useful for tunnels, shop doorways and anywhere the light changes quickly.
- What colors are available?
- Black, in sizes S, M and L.
- Is this a medical device or eye protection?
- No. ClipVue clip-ons are an eyewear accessory. They are not a medical device and not personal protective equipment, and they do not replace safety glasses, sports eye protection or prescription sunglasses.
Orders, shipping and returns
- How long does delivery take?
- Orders ship to the US and are fulfilled overseas. Processing takes 1 to 3 business days and transit typically takes 7 to 15 business days after dispatch. Full detail on the shipping page.
- Do you ship outside the US?
- Not at the moment. We ship to United States addresses only.
- What if the clip doesn’t fit?
- Send it back unused within 30 days of delivery for a refund. See the returns page for the steps.
- Do you have customer reviews?
- We’re a new store and we don’t publish reviews we haven’t genuinely received. When real customers leave feedback, it goes up as written.
